Dr. Pillai HOC Junior College of Education, Rasayani

Established in 2009, Dr. Pillai HOC College of Education is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college provides course in English medium and has emerged as one of the best in the state of Maharashtra. Situated in the heart of the Maharashtra, Rasayani, it has a well-equipped computer centre, the latest teaching aids, a well-stocked library, and up-to-date laboratory.

    50 - Marathi Medium

The D.T.Ed. course is a two-year programme that focuses on value-based education and development of competencies. With the approval of the NCTE, the SCERT has introduced compulsory internship in schools of six months for D.T.Ed. students (New Curriculum)

  Eligibility

Higher Secondary Certificate of any Board from the State of Maharashtra. Minimum 50% marks for open candidates and 45% for other caste categories, as prescribed by the Government.

To help student-teachers develop the ability to logically and psychologically arrange subjects, and master different methods of teaching. We also aim to help them develop democratic, moral and social values, and promote all round development. A lot of emphasis is given to value -based education and development of various competencies.
