Eligibility
|
A candidate for being eligible for admission
to the first year of the Bachelor of Architecture
Course of the University:
(i) Must have passed the Higher Secondary School
Certificate Examination conducted by the Maharashtra
State Board of Secondary Education, Poona, or
an examination recognized as equivalent thereto,
with Mathematics as one of the subjects
AND
(ii) The candidate must have passed the aptitude
test conducted by the competent authority to be
eligible for the admission to Bachelor of Architecture
Course.(National Aptitude Test in Architecture-

STAGE-I
(i) The first year examination in architecture
will be called the FIRST YEAR EXAMINATION IN ARCHITECTURE.
(ii) The second year examination in architecture
will be called the SECOND YEAR EXAMINATION IN
ARCHITECTURE.
(iii) The third year examination in architecture
will be called the THIRD YEAR EXAMINATION IN ARCHITECTURE.
The first stage mentioned above must be completed
within five years of taking admission to the bachelor
of architecture course.
STAGE-II
(i) The fourth year examination in architecture
will be called the FOURTH YEAR EXAMINATION IN
ARCHITECTURE.
(ii) The fifth year (part I and part II) examination
in architecture will be called THE FIFTH YEAR
EXAMINATION IN ARCHITECTURE (part I and part II);
The Bachelor of Architecture will not be conferred
upon the candidate unless the candidate has passed
in all the theory papers, external viva voice
and all internal subject heads (sessional work)
of passing prescribed for each year’s examination
in accordance with the provision relating to each
year’s examinations.
Once the sessional work of a candidate has been
submitted for the examination and been marked
as passed (as directed by the Principal to his
satisfaction), the said marks shall be carried
over to a subsequent examination. A candidate
whose marks in sessional work are thus carried
over shall be eligible for a class.
*The marks obtained for the sessional work shall
be based on the candidate’s day to day work and
his or her performance at the various periodic
tests and assessments. The sessional marks obtained
shall be sent directly to the university by the
Principal.
